Building a Dream: The Road to Turning Woodworking into a Full-Time Business
Share
Our journey began in 2016 when I built the first two garden beds for my wife and daughter. I continued by making small furniture around the house for my family and friends. Suddenly the scattered woodworking experience I had in high school woodshop and building with my dad all became so useful in my own home. I loved the feeling of being able to accomplish these projects that were durable and useful to my loved ones. Slowly but surely news spread from my family to the community and our small business began to take shape.
Transitioning to doing this full-time was both a scary and exciting experience. I'm incredibly grateful for the support from my community and family, who have helped me grow this small business into what it is today. I've learned so much along the way—and continue to learn—which has only deepened my passion for woodworking.
